Residence Rules
of the OSPU Dormitory
The following rules are based on the Resolution of Prof. Konstantin A.Churkin, Rector, Omsk State Pedagogical University,
N 156 dated May 5, 2003. Foreign citizens, living in the residence hall of OSPU, must follow the given rules:
1.
The Superintendent of the residence hall and the Senior Specialist, Centre for International Cooperation, are responsible for matters concerning Residence rules.
2.
Distribution of rooms in the residence hall of OSPU is carried out by the Deputy Director for International Students from the Centre for International Cooperation. Accommodation must correspond to sanitary norms. Students are forbidden to change rooms of their own accord.
3.
Students, living in the residence hall must follow sanitary norms and technical safety and fire-prevention rules.
4.
Within the residence hall it is forbidden to have loud music, to make noise, or to otherwise disturb neighbors during their resting or studying time.
5.
Students living in the residence hall must keep their rooms, section, and other buildings of the residence hall in order. They must not waste electricity, gas or water, damage furniture or equipment of the residence hall and must compensate the university for any damage done.
6.
IDs are used to access the residence hall. When leaving, residents must leave their ID at the reception desk and take it back on returning.
7.
It is strictly forbidden for strangers to visit residents. In the case of relatives wishing to visit a resident, the resident himself must get permission from the Centre for International Cooperation by completing a request form and making copies of his relatives’ passports. Visiting time is 4 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. Accommodation of residents’ relatives at the residence hall is strictly forbidden. Residents are fully responsible for their relatives’ actions.
8.
The residence hall is closed at 0:00 a.m. till 6:00 a.m. Residents must return to their rooms before the residence hall is closed.
9.
Use of the public lounge of the residence hall is by permission of the person in charge, who is appointed by The Centre for International Cooperation.
10.
Residents must follow the given rules. Penalties are applied for those residents who don’t follow the rules.
